Event Schedule

The park will be open to the public from 8:00am until 11:00 pm on the 4th of July. Food Vendor sales begin at noon. Fireworks at 10:00 pm.

Entertainment

Good ol' fashioned music and family fun will be found on the stage all day, from 12:00 (noon) through 9:30pm, located in the Main Plaza.

Food Vendors

You can bring a picnic to enjoy with your family and friends during the daylong celebration or you can purchase a large array of food and drink from one of the many concessionaires that will be open to serve you from noon to 11:30 pm.

Due to safety precautions, NO charcoal or gas/propane barbecues will be allowed on the grounds. Fireworks start at 10:00 pm.

Children's Activities

The 2013 Children's Activities are being coordinated by Debb Moser. Contact her for more information - debbcwsf@aol.com

Thanks to a donation from Zirkle Fruit, Allied Arts will be handling the kid’s activities.  They will have all kinds of funs things for children to do from Noon – 7:00 p.m.  Look for their van and be sure to stop by and join in the fun!

KXDD traditional family fun from 12:00- 6:00pm - balloon toss, 3 legged race and sack race!

Carnival

The carnival rides are a big attraction in the days leading up to the 4th of July and on the 4th as well. Here is LAST YEAR's schedule and pricing info. We will post the 2013 dates/times once we have received them from the vendor.

Pricing for Carnival rides:

• $20 Wristbands - Good for all rides during full carnival operating hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday only. The wristband is only good for one day with a different color wrist band sold/used each day.
• Individual ride tickets $1.25 each (Average 3 – 4 tickets required per ride)
• Sheet of 20 tickets for $22
• Family Special - 60 Tickets for $50 is good only on the day of the 4th
• The Sundola will not be operating this year.

Special registrations on wristbands on Wednesday, the 4th of July

• Cost $18.00
• Valid from Noon to 4:00 p.m. (can be used for rides during those hours only)
• On sale from Noon – 3:00 p.m. the day of the 4th only (no presale - can only be purchased during those hours).

KATS Beer Garden

Enjoy fun with friends in the Beer Garden! Open noon through 10:00pm.

Fireworks

The highlight of the day's events will be a fantastic fireworks display by Entertainment Fireworks at 10:00 pm. Watch the fireworks from the fairgrounds or nearby open areas. Tune your dial in to these Yakima area radio stations for the special patriotic music that is set in sync to accompany the fireworks program.
